Chicago Could Have the BEST team in Baseball

Take a look at the two MLB teams in Chicago.

Batting
The Chicago Cubs have a team On Base Plus Slugging Percentage (OPS) of .779, which puts them 5th overall for MLB. They have a team batting average of .274, which puts them 3rd overall for MLB.

The Whitesox have a team OPS of .739, which puts them 19th overall for MLB. They have a team batting average of .258, which puts the 24th overall for MLB.

But get this. The Cubs have 538 RBIs while the Sox have 545 RBIs. That's strange.

Pitching
The Whitesox have a Team ERA of 3.60 for third overall. They have a WHIP of 1.28 for 6th overall.

The Cubs have a Team ERA of 4.33 for 17th overall. They have a WHIP of 1.36 for 16th overall.

Ignoring who is on what team. We could do a merge of the Whitesox Pitching with the Cubs hitting and we would have the best team in baseball.

Now that would be awesome.
