You Can't Blame the Cubs' Wendell Kim

Wendell Kim was removed today from third base. I wouldn't blame the Cubs scoring problems on Kim. The Cubs had trouble getting their men to second base. It's hard to waive them in (or hold them up) when you have men swinging at the air at home plate. An on base percentage of .328 only slightly worse than Sosa's .332. and better than the Lead Off Hitter Patterson who had a whopping .320. To help out the hitting they have assigned Gene Clines to the task. I know Gene led the Giants from 1997 to 2002, but I don't have much confidence in the move. There were more moves at coaching positions for the Cubs. As a Cub fan, this gives me hope for some reason. Must be my blue blood.
