Boston Redsox - Didn't leave Nomar Out

The current players of the Boston Redsox chose to give Nomar a full seasons share.  The players voted last month on it.  That will end up being around $200,000!

Nomar called his closest friend to tell them he was happy for them and good luck.

"He wished us well and told me to tell the guys he was thinking about them and was happy for us," Nixon said. "We all understand that certain things happen in baseball you can't control, but for as long as he was with the team and for everything he did, it doesn't feel right that he's not here."

Nomar calls to wish his teammates well

Steve Stone and Chip Caray Gone

So what!

Don't feel sad for Chip or Steve.  Chip has the gig he always wanted, working with his dad.  Stone is doing pretty good for himself outside of the Cubs.

I always turned the TV volume on mute and turned up WGN Radio.  I love to listen to Pat and Ron.  Pat is awesome and Ron is a regular guy when it comes to watching the game.

Caray was the main reason I turned down the TV.  Stone knows his stuff, Caray drove me crazy.  I didn't particularly like listening to his Grandpa either.

I loved Jack Brickhouse and Lou Boudreau.  When I think of Cubs TV Broadcasters, Jack Brickhouse is who I think of.
