Not a Good Day for Maddux

The Cubs drop to 1-1 today. Maddux gave up five earned runs in five innings. This seems to be the pattern the past few years for Maddux. He has started out slow the past three years. I'm not to concerned. He had 6 K's and walked 1. His control is there, as always.

Todd Hollandsworth had the big day for this Cubs. 2 for 4 with a 3 run home run in the second.

Well, there goes our perfect season! lol
